STAN MATTHEWS
I'm a solo classic country artist. My music is stark, stripped bare, the lyrics are honest. I sing about life from the perspective of the working man. My music take you on life's journey; search for love, joy of a child's birth, the struggle of relationships, the anguish at the loss of a job, the sorrow at a loved one's passing.
My newest cd titled "Truck Driving Man" will be independently released in Sept. 2017. My first cd, a 5 song ep titled "Stan Matthews" was released in April 2016. My music can be heard on radio stations worldwide.
I perform locally in my home state of Massachusetts. In addition to writing songs and playing traditional country music, I am married with 5 children and have been a truck driver amongst other things for 21 years.
